Spector: Epic Mickey is the best-looking Wii game ever

Come the end of this month, something epic is heading towards your Wii consoles, and Warren Spector could not be any more proud of what they've done. Epic Mickey is the one I'm referring to, and it's definitely worth looking into if only to see if there's any truth to Spector's claim that it simply is "the best-looking Wii game ever."

Said the creative director, "I'm really proud of the team because they embraced the challenge of backing away from their own creativity, and have embraced that of both Disney and the player. This does not play or feel like any other game, but the gamer can make it feel like a Mario game, or a Zelda game. They determine the pace of the play."

He then continued to boast of the game's superb graphics, saying, "I also think this is the best-looking game ever. I think graphically it hits a bar that the best Disney stuff has to hit. I think that will appeal to people. At the end of teh day, Disney fans and non-Disney fans alike will come away with a greater appreciation of Disney's creative heritage."

Get ready to color your Wii world with Epic Mickey when it hits retail stores on November 26th in Europe, and on the 30th in North America.

Nonsense. Mario Galaxy 2 is easily as pretty as any xbox or ps3 game - Nintendo know how to make the most of their hardware and use textures so effectively. It may not be HD, but it never flickers or goes see-through. So many ps3 games do not make effective use of the incredible hardware. Obviously, Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 are the only Wii games that bear comparison, but it looks as if Epic Mickey might just raise the bar again.
Games are for playing, too: not just for looking at. My Wii is a lot of fun for my whole family, not just for young men.

First, Wii hasn't got HD quality, but SD as PS2 has.

Wii looks crap as PS2 on an HDTV.

Too bad Nintendo didn't do their best this generation, all going for the profit.

It's been proven, top notch graphic ability does NOT make a good console.

Retard in the truest sense means "late/slow to develop". Einstein couldn't talk at all during the first few years of his life, and was, therefore, considered a retard... but he was still really damn smart.

The game looks interesting. My household is full of Disney fans so I'm guessing this game will get a ton of use!
