Forrester Research conducted a news report that has Sony's brand trusted higher than Microsoft and Nintendo by consumers. The study mentioned that this is probably because Sony offers a wide variety of products that the general population has learned to trust. Microsoft had a lot of distrust amongst it's 5.4 million household users, while Sony seems to have an overall satisfactory appeal to it's younger consumers. What does "vast majority of the people would feel safe buying from Sony." have to do with 360 news?
This is clearly not just games. Who ever heard of someone sending a gamecube back to Nintendo when it broke? the PS2 was so faulty it actually made me hate all thigns Sony.
It's really cool that I comment on a 360 article and I'm also commenting on a PS3 article at the same time.

This article involves Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo so it fits into the PS3, Xbox 360, and Revolution blogs, respectively. This article is simply comparing feedback ratings from many companies, including the three aforementioned, amongst US households.
STUPID. People are ridiculous. For one, you cant trust surveys. They are made by man and man changes things for their own benefit.

I guess I was being overly picky, I suppose I would have been content with The title: Microsoft least trusted name amongst consumer products. Since the article is not simply bound to video games.
With that said if it were just related to gaming and not brand, products or services I would declare Nintendo to have a well trusted name. There an A+ act.
Why are Bose and Dell so high? Dell makes crap, and Bose is overpriced. I'd take Definitive Technology speakers over Bose anyday.
Doens't make much since to me with all the ps2s that were sent back when they were faulty(far more then the 360)
I guess with the few faulty 360s the ignorant public will say they are a great company.
after two year my ps2 broke or better say I broked. I send it back to sony and the only thing I pay was the shipping cost.

Whoever thought of doing a stupid survey like that should be fired and have his ass kicked around the block.
I for one will say that out of all 3 systems the xbox freezes the least, Nintnedo second least and the stupid PS2 the most. When i play Socom 3 it freezes 1 in 5 times during level loading with an absolutely scratchless disk. Sony makes garbage, i never buy their brand. My dad got a surround sound system and all the speakers fiss, they make garbage imo. THe only thing that was truly kick ass was their CD players (discman).

that survey is a little underestimated I mean X360 has proven to be an excellent choice machine for videogames. Everybody knows that
sony is the company i trust the LEAST. i know at least 3 people (including myself) who have bought at least 3 PS2's because the previous ones broke and sony techsupport said it was our fault. hell even one of my PS2's still had the 30 day warranty by sony and they STILL dident honor it. i felt like i could sue them but i just dont know how to go about that.
Sony is the gaming company i trust least, they make a crappy product that is defective and inferior. and has some great games for it.
i think this study should have been "which console do you own?" because i know a TON of retards who only own a PS2 and claim that sony rocks...
Microsoft is a company i WOULDENT trust, except they have shown to be VERY trustworthy in the gaming department. the OS department, no i dont trust them, but in the console and gaming area yes.
I mean, look at the 360. It's rushed, had pretty bad launch titles, and have defects, like the power supply crap. And Microsoft lied that the 360 is a truely HD console.

the rushed part is really just a lie, its had years of development time, and as always a few bugs get let loose, i would have given it about a month more maybe. but its not rushed.
Its launch titles are some of the strongest any console has ever seen at launch. compare them to the launch titles of the PS2 and Xbox and you can see that the 360 dident do that bad.
The power supply crap? i dont know what you mean, but my power supply on my 360 is fine. and on all of my friends who own a 360 they have not said a thing about their powersupplies so nothing special about them.
Yes the 360 is a truley HD console. its mandatory that it supports HD, EVERY game must support 480p, 720p, 1080i those are all HD resolutions. and im sure when the time comes and people start buying 1080p TV's games will begin to support that too. its a HD console dude. microsoft held their promise on that.
