Someone shoot Mii: Wii Play target practice video

Japan and Europe must be having a ball right now with Wii Play. They got it lucky with a December release, while the U.S. is getting it only by February 12. That's well and fine for me, just as long as they push through with selling the Wii Play + Wiimote bundle.

Anyways, one of the game's biggest factors is it's Duck Hunt influences, and what better way to show it off than in a video of the Shooter mini-game. Playing it against another friend will have you guys racing to get the higher score. Just shoot all those various objects appearing on screen (including the occasional re-rendered Duck Hunt duck).

Your Mii avatars will also make cameos from time to time, and whenever they do, just make sure you don't shoot your own - go take it out on your opponent for additional points!

This video is pretty accurate

it shows the complete and utter boredome that is Wiiplay. I know you US guys are hanging out for it and nothing I say will change you buying it, but really, it's not worth the extra money. 20 minutes it will take you to unlock the games and then that's the end.

Air Hockey

Honestly, after having it for a month the standout games are air hockey and that tank game. Air hockey is a blast once you get good at the controls. In my house it's more popular then any of the Wii Sports games.

Yeah its something nice to have as an extra with your wii remote.... But as a game dont think your getting anything good here for your money. I wanted a second control so it was nice to get...a few fun games but nothing that is amazing

Point Blank

Kind of reminds me of Point Blank for the PlayStation

Wii Play

The target practice game consists of 5 levels - Balloons, Targets, Clays, Coke Cans and then UFO's. I've had WiiPlay since launch and the target practice like the other 8 minigames offers very little re-play value. The one exception to this is LaserHockey. Just remember to treat WiiPlay as a £5 game, buy it for the additional remote and that's all.
