Ó

SNES - Image 1We told you guys all about the Sega Saturn emulator for the Wii console earlier, and now here's an update for another homebrew SNES emulator for the Wii: askot.altair and dsbomb's snes9xgx143.

As the name suggests, this app is a port of the Snes9x v1.43 emulator originally made for PCs. This particular beta version - rev. 70 - includes a bundled Wii elf and has the following features:
  • Four player support
  • Mode 7, Super FX, SDD1, SRTC, SA-1, DSP1, DSP2 support
  • Partial DSP4 support
This emulators works for both the Nintendo GameCube and the Nintendo Wii. When used on the Wii, snes9xgx143 reads games from and supports saving SRAM and State files to the Wii SD, memory card, or SD Gecko.

For more info, we strongly suggest checking out the documentation files found in the source link below as the download bundle doesn't come with a readme file.
