Velvet Revolver and Guns and Roses fans out there will be thrilled to find out that SLASH will be a playable character in Activision and Neversoft's Guitar Hero III. The legendary guitar player went down to the Guitar Hero studios where he was placed in a motion capture suit to record his shredding,
The details on how to unlock him have already been revealed and it looks like its going to be pretty difficult to do. We'll start of with the easy part first, you need to complete all the songs in the game. After you've done that you have to go one-on-one with SLASH, and if you win, you get him as a playable character in the game. Take a minute to imagine trying to beat SLASH at shredding? Ok, that's how difficult it is.
Guitar Hero III is slated for release this year on the PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, and the Wii. This is one game we'll definitely be picking up when it comes out. Keep checking back here for more updates.

yeah i'm pretty sure kurt cobain is the most untalented guitarist in the world and Nirvana shat on rock/grunge music. Slash was just recently awarded being a shredding god at a ceremony in UK. So shut ur mouth about cobain. If slash were ever to be replaced by kurt cobain i would ***** a chicken then kill myself.
They should do this with more people. That'd be awesome if the game had a bunch of rock gods like Slash, Angus Young, Jimmy Page, and Hendrix
