Six Flags to offer complimentary Wii gaming |

Last year, the feature attraction at one Six Flags was Gears of War. This year, it shall be the Wii. Six Flags and Nintendo of America have signed an agreement that makes the Wii the Official Gaming Console for the Six Flags theme parks. Part of that deal includes the theme parks offering Wii Gaming Stations for complimentary gaming (Don't we wish they were complimentary Wiis we could take home instead? Eh, moving on...).For Nintendo, this is part of their strategy to reach out to more people every day. "We look forward to continuing to build the Wii's leadership position in video gaming by making the system available to millions of guests who visit Six Flags every year," say NoA's Perrin Kaplan. The press release didn't specify when Six Flags will wheel out the Gaming Stations (probably in time for summer), or what games will be featured in these Stations (but Wii Play and Wii Sports, as well as the Rabbids and Wario, sound like perfect fits - like minigames in a theme park).
Definitely no new ride entitled "Dodge the Wiimote", though.
