Sin City video game scheduled to be released next year |

Ó
We've already heard lots of things about the game adaptation of Frank Miller's graphic novel Sin City, such as the reported use of Unreal Engine 3, but we haven't heard about its scheduled release date. Thankfully, Sin City's developing studio Red Mile Entertainment mentioned the game's release window: early next year. Since it's still a year away from that release window, several details such as Sin City's platform (or platforms) have yet to be known. However, given that the game will be based on such an awesome graphic novel written by none other than Frank Miller himself, nothing could possibly go wrong, yes? We certainly do hope so, too.
As always, more updates as we get them. Stay tuned!

What I hope to see from this title is a fresh story drawing from elements of the franchise, and not a mere tie-in with the movies.
I wouldn't mind the likeness and vocal talent of the actors from the film/s, in fact I think that would be a very good thing, but first and foremost I want a fun, engrossing and totally captivating playing experience, and not a cash cow, like we see with the majority of movie tie-ins.
What I'd also like to see over the coming years is, rather than movie tie ins hitting the shelves as fully prices titles that dilute the industry, that they start hitting the XBLA and PSN as lower priced downloadable titles.
Lets face it; movie tie-ins are never going to go away completely so placing them in an environment where they can still sell but not tarnish the rest of the industry I feel would benefit everyone. (can you imagine going to the online marketplace, downloading a movie and then having the option to download the tie-in game whilst you watch it? that would be sweet.
