Activision Blizzard announces gaming pipeline - Image 1Lately, the talk of the town has been the merger between industry giants Activision and Vivendi Games. Financial reports aside, we imagine this latest move leaves many a gamer wondering about the future of each of these companies' franchises.

On that note, we're reporting that Activision Blizzard has recently sent out a financial fact sheet which, aside from discussing the partnership's transaction details, also announces several titles already in the pipeline. Pipeline, or wet dream, depending on which game you're a big fan of. Here's the list:
  • Call of Duty 5
  • Guitar Hero IV
  • James Bond
  • new DreamWorks titles
  • new Marvel titles
  • new racing entry by Bizarre
And in case you're wondering, no - there was no mention of any World of Warcraft sequels. On a personal note, this blogger is definitely looking forward to Call of Duty 5. Activision will be hard-pressed to top Modern Warfare's success on the PS3,Xbox 360, and PC,  though.

Whether they (or Infinity Ward) are up to the challenge, we'll have to leave up the future. We'll let you know if any related news bits arrive regarding these new possibilities. For now, dream, speculate, and comment away on your aspirations for these franchises.
