Sengoku Musou Wave for Wii first made its public appearance at Nintendo's pre-E3 2006 conference back when Wii was still the Revolution. A lot has happened since then, but Sengoku Musou Wave remains a bit of a mystery. The action video game takes place in Japan during the country's feudal period where the legendary samurai ruled. The Samurai is a term for the military nobility back when Japan was noted more for its rice than its technology. The word itself means 'to serve' and a samurai is a military servant of a lord.

Sengoku Musou Wave is based on Samurai Warriors (PS2), a spin-off of the Dynasty Warriors franchise. In the Wii version the Wiimote is used to swing and control the sword - the same way a frustrated rocker plays air guitar - only it looks less idiotic. We can't give you much more info on the game itself but here's a video of how you budding "air samurais" will probably look like.
