Sengoku Musou WaveFans of the whole Dynasty Warriors-type action genre will have to wait a little while longer to get their action fix for the Wii. Koei's Sengoku Musou Wave (Samurai Warriors Wave), which was supposed to be released in Japan on December 28, has taken a hard hit. The Dynasty Warriors offshoot title's release date has been pushed back to sometime in 2007.

Right now, we don't have any further information regarding the delay, but it is likely that graphics and gameplay improvements played a large part in the decision to push the title's release date back.

It's been mentioned that Sengoku Musou Wave features a first-person perspective designed to take full advantage of the Wii remote. While the gameplay video evoked a few negative opinions about the game, we're hoping that this delay will result in better-looking graphics and more intuitive controls.

The Wii WILL flop if games look this bad. This game would be at home on the Super Nintendo. The Wii can do much more than this.

Then again, this is Koei, so why should I be surprised?
