Sega releasing four more Genesis games on Virtual Console |
Ó
New entries in the ESRB website shows four classic games from the treasure chest that is Sega. All of the games are classics (or retro, whichever you prefer) and have appeared on the Genesis platform around the 1990's.The games will likely be available on the Wii's Virtual Console soon, unless Sega has decided to make a Genesis Anthology (though it's not likely, with only four games).
The first game, Eternal Champions, is a fighting game that appeared on the whiplash success of Street Fighter II, Fatal Fury and Mortal Kombat. The second is Ecco Jr., an adventure game for the young and young at heart. The story is based on Ecco the dolphin who wanted to see the wide world of the ocean.
The third game, Light Crusader, is an RPG where you play Sir David, a knight in the king's employ. You must solve the a series of disappearances in the town of Green Row. The last game features the adorable-but-not-cuddly Sonic in the platform game Sonic 3D Blast. The game will also be released with a Windows version.
