NiGHTS 2 photo credits go to Littlecube of VGBoxArt - Image 1This isn't the first time that Sega's put up a poll on their site about game revivals. But in this certain batch of options, things could really spark up some secret game development behind the curtains of the Sega labs. The question on their minds: which Sega game/character would you like to see return? The choices include:
  • NiGHTS
  • Streets of Rage
  • Samba de Amigo
  • Virtua Cop
  • Flicky
Interesting batch of survey options huh? NiGHTS Into Dreams has been rumored to have some sort of reincarnation on the Wii, and while that kept us hopeful, what about the other games on the list? Samba de Amigo, also by the Sonic Team, was one of the first console games which used motion-sensing, so a Wii-version of it, even if just on the Virtual Console, would be an easy target.

Speaking of the VC, Streets of Rage has already come out, so why ask about it yet again? Could they be planning to release a remake and not just a port?

Oh, and if you're wondering, that boxart of a supposed "NiGHTS 2" is actually fan art done by Littlecube, as posted on VGBoxArt last July. Great work, huh?

» Pardon me,

Where in the hell is Panzer Dragoon!? Did I not get the complete list. Sega is going to be receiving some hate mail very soon.
