Wii Zaooer - Image 1While a lot of us are waiting for the Nintendo Wii Zapper to ship on the 19th, some have already gotten their Zapper boxes delivered to their offices. It turns out that the light gun has a second, little-known setup mode that's been seen before but not quite noticed.

Early feedback on the Wii Zapper hasn't exactly painted a picture of fans raving wild with the gun accessory, as some are finding it more of a hindrance than a boon to shooting game experiences. Still, it has some benefits observed, such as the ability to reload in Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles while keeping the targeting cursor steady.

The image reproduced above shows the second configuration where the Wii Remote and the Nunchuk aren't together, which makes us answer where this configuration applies. We're excited to find out more about it as we go along immersing it in our shooters.

The Wii Zapper is available for US$ 25.00 and may or may be bought bundled with the game Link's Crossbow Training.

now why would I buy a piece of plastic that holds my wiimote when I could just as easily craft something better myself?

Why would you play a video game system when you can just build a better one yourself. Douche
