Mobile Suit Gunadam (Wii)


Months ago, we featured the Official Third Party Wii Title List which lists Mobile Suit Gundam under the Namco Bandai Games. There hasn't been much news about this ever since the official list came out, but French gaming website Phantasy Online recently featured some of the Wii version's screens, which doesn't take a genius to notice how different it looks from the PS3 counterpart. But hey, different is always interesting, is it not?

Apparently, the Wii version wants to be a continuation of the series which features futuristic robot combats. Here are some of the game's screens, go ahead and check 'em out and tell us what you think about it.

Looks kind of lame. Tho if there was a way to incorperate online mulitplayer on it that could be intresting have like upto 8 people just connect to the game and continue co - op or do some death matches or something could be intresting.

I mean, the wii is not on the graphics competition but they could at least make something watchable... the wii can get good graphs, they are not suppose to run graphics like this for an action game... ( only for makai kingdom, disgaea and makai wars it's correct, cause the games are sooo sweet ) =D



I'll buy a ps3 anyway and play final fantasy and MGS4 and DMC4 and RE5 and GTA4 and others too, even if ps3 cost a lot it worth it, and I'll surely buy a nintendo wii, dunno witch one 1st...

Looks a bit oldschool with the birds eye view. The PS3 verion so far looks much more appealing with its better looking gameplay and camera view.



the above screenshots show a game interface that you would fine on the DS or PSP.

Gamespot lists 2 gundam games for the Wii: Mobile Suit Gundam and SD Gundam G Breaker. From the looks of it, it's probably the latter.

If you go to http://www.gamespot.com/wii/sim/sdgundam/media.html and watch the video, you can definitely see that this game is not Mobile Suit Gundam. The clip of SD Gundam in the E3 montage has a simpler HUD and even has that same flail as the third screenshot.
