Saturn Returns: Radiant Silvergun 3 for 360, NiGHTS Into Dreams for Wii? |
Listed in: Wii, Xbox 360 Tags: Japan, Sega Saturn
Ó

A list of Japan releases came up at G-rev and soon enough, Siliconera sniffed it out with translations of the games. The first is Treasure's Radiant Silvergun 3 as part of the side-scrolling shooter series that came out originally for the Sega Saturn. It's on the Xbox 360 list, and pretty much possible since we already heard of Treasure supposedly working on a shoot-'em-up title for the 360.

The second surprise title appeared on the Wii list, and the reason why we're surprised is because the last we heard of this rumor was way back early of last year when the Wii was still called Revolution. And to think, at that time, the rumor was based on hearsay of a drunken conversation. G-rev has listed a NiGHTS Into Dreams game from Sega, but whether or not this is a remake of the original game for Sega Saturn, nothing has been confirmed yet.
It's only the first few days of January, and things are starting to heat up already. Will these rumors be doused to ash and coals? We'll keep you guys posted!

I want both of these ASAP, I hope they're just straight ports to the VC, I wouldn't want Sega to 'improve' NiGHTS. I'd surely buy some Wii points for those!

I don't own a Wii but i will buy one if Nights turns out to be a Wii exclusive. Hell, i bought a second hand Saturn and a copy of Nights last year after remembering how great it was first time round. Not managed to track down Radiant Silvergun tho as i don't think a PAL version was ever released.
Now all we need is Panzer Dragoon Saga and our lives will be complete.

If the new nights game played anything like the Saturn version, how do you expect the Wiimote to make the game that much better?
All you'd be doing is holding your arm out to the right and occasionally moving it in a loop to do flips and stuff.
The Wiimote wouldn't make it THAT much better, and if anything, would just give you an arm ache.
I'd prefer it on 360 with HD visuals by 110%.
