Will Spotify be headed off to the "next gen consoles"? This seems to be the rumor circulating the Internets, as excitement continues to grow for the popular streaming music service. Of course, if there is any immediacy to this buzz, then "next gen consoles" would actually be the "now gen consoles" of Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii. A tipster from Baxy-z claims:
Since Spotify has really propelled into the industry and successfully launched on all sorts of platforms, I thought it'd be best to let you know that we have something in the works for the next gen consoles. We've been working on it for some time now and we can't wait to reveal it to you guys!
From the tone of the anonymous tipster, it sure seems like s/he is working from the inside to know the real deal of the scoop. But until we hear official word from Spotify, hold your horses, and don't go jumping for joy just yet.
