Rumor: Miyamoto hints at new Zelda game, new Pikmin, Wii Fit online support |

As far as video games are concerned, Shigeru Miyamoto is a bonafide VIP thanks to his success with Nintendo Company, Ltd. and Super Mario. Now, even without saying much in a press conference over at New York Comic-Con 2008, Miyamoto has spurred some noteworthy rumors about some Nintendo titles.
Speaking in a media roundtable, Miyamoto has been generally mum about future plans for the Nintendo DS and Wii. This inspired a 1UP correspondent to make some predictions based on the limited info from the Super Mario creator.
- Miyamoto said that the Zelda team has gotten back together. So is a new game under development? Logic says it's very likely but there are no confirmations as of yet.
- Asked about the real-time strategy game Pikmin, Miyamoto said he is still unsure about what to do with that franchise. It could come out for the Nintendo Wii or the DS again (or it could just remain buried).
- On the topic of online support for Wii Fit, Miyamoto gave the ambiguous reply, " I can't talk about anything until E3."

i hope there is a new pikmin title that game was fun
cant wait i had a feeling a new zelda was on the way. its been 2 years since twilight princess i think we can expect it next year. but what does he mean about being "unsure about what to do with that franchise" !?!? i would love a new pikmin!
So...basically I could fake my body weight by making myself seem fat to the game...and then own online against fat kids...best game ever.
seems reasonable for me. Every Nintendo(really, every one) console up to now had an Zelda game. NES had two, SNES had one, Game Boy had one, N64 had two, Gamecube had two, hell, even the Game & Watch had one. About time that the Wii get's one. Yeah, sure, there was Twighlight Princess, but that was multiplatform on Wii and GC. An exclusive for Wii is in the making, I'm sure of it.
You can probably expect it towards the end of the Wii's lifespan in 2-3 years. It will come on the Wii 2 first though so Nintendo can get you to buy their new console.
i thought qj banned you from the wii section o well i geuss you can't help that the monkey staff of qj can't do ther job right oh yea m sense my friend a hardcore ps3 fanboy just bought a wii.
