Rumor: Mario Party 8 released early? |
Ó
Well, a picture says a thousand words, and Go Nintendo was able to procure a picture taken by Try4ce of the alleged early release of the game. So what does this mean? It could mean that Gamestop got the go ahead to release the game early. Another possibility that we have to take into consideration is that it might only be the packaging on display to promote the product. Finally, we also have to consider that the photograph is fake. (Sorry Try4ce, we have to consider all possibilities.)

Good thing he took the picture that far so you can see everything.
I was at EB Games today to preorder Halo 3, and I saw that. But there is a sign on the shelf itself saying "Coming Soon", encouraging us to preorder it. There is also a thing at my Target, but it's all just promotion.
That is just an empty box that they put out for pre-order interst. I was at Gamestop today and they had those out too.
i work for gamestop, that is just a coming soon box, out there to let people know its available for pre-order. But we are prepared for the game to be released on May 30th.
lol Qj.net has gone more retarded. Come on thats a fricking display case. Now if someone took a picture of the box, disc and manual then thats something to blog about not a shelve full of promotional boxes at games stop tards...
The artwork we get sometimes is official box art sent to us to put out on display. might as well ad that we have box's for the following wii games Pokemon battle rev. mortal combat. and ofcorse Mario Party 8. Nintendo products sell out fast so its generally a good idea to place a preorder. just $5 down on most titles will insure you're self a copy when its released. we can preorder just about any title. also if you have old games your not using any more you can trade them in for cash or in store credit. and you can get bonus credit the following ways. 1. a gamestop card (works at all eb games/gamestop's nation wide)you get this instore for around $14 and it enables you to save 10% off of all used games and accessories. also if you do it this month you will get a cuppon for a additional 10% on tradein's (also at various times we will have aditional promotions for added credit) 2. trading in towards preorders generally gives you more credit such as towards big titles like halo3 check you local store for details.
forgot to say the card also gives you 10% credit towards tradeins and the card expires in 1 years time.
gamestop under pays its employees majorly. and you are a tool for trying to sell a sub and a preorder online. wow
thats the actual game that they put in the shelve. Of course they wont sell it till release date. I've seen Smackdown VS RAW 2008 on shelf 3 weeks before release, they let me see it too. After that, I've never ask to view an unrelease title anymore.
There is no way they have a game instock 3 weeks before its release. I work for a larger retail chain than EB and we always get our games before EB. And that is the day before the release or the day of.
