Karous by Milestone - Image 1Could it be that Karous will be setting out for the Nintendo Wii? The Sega Dreamcast video game has been the center of the growing buzz through the grapevine as Milestone Interactive's secret shooter to join Nintendo's third party release list.

Sure, there hasn't been any official statement from Milestone regarding this (hence it is a rumor), but Arcade Renaissance is confident that it will, indeed, be Karous that will be served up to the Wii. According to their source, the arcade shooter is in fact currently under development by Milestone Interactive. But while that may not be sufficient grounds for you to believe this tip, maybe these few facts will help to push you towards believing the possibility:
  • Last year, an administrator at O3 Entertainment's forums posted the message, "Here is something to look forward to after Radio Allergy comes out."
    • O3 Entertainment localized efforts for Radio Allergy, which is one of Milestone's shooter titles
    • The post provided a link leading to the Milestone Karous webpage
  • Recently, a member of the SHMUPS forum has claimed that they had details which confirm Karous' development for the Wii
When this rumor finally becomes news, we'll be sure to update you on it, so keep it locked here for more. Oh, and if you still don't get what's all this excitement about, then probably you don't know what Karous is. But we've got just the remedy for that. We unearthed this YouTube video, which is sure to enlighten you as to how fun this arcade title is.

According to the katakana it's "Karasu" (which i I think means "Crow"), not "Karous."
