Rumor: Guitar Hero World Tour's list of tracks |
Ó
Making its way around the Internet is an intriguing new rumor related to Guitar Hero World Tour (Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Wii). This rumor is made interesting by the simple fact that it's supposed to be the full set list for the game. According to this rumored set list, the game will have 73 main tracks, along with 14 bonus tracks and three guitar battle tracks. The game also appears to have seven sample songs, which we assume were placed in the game for track creation purposes.

Seeing Master of Puppets as an encore seems kinda fanboyish. Then again, that's who Activision's catering to.
Omfg, i got firrrrst!!!1111!!!1!!111
I'm gonna go cut my wrists nao.
"Tornado of Souls" by Megadeth
That song says it all
i like the three tool songs and the joe satriani. not many people know him but he's good. an instrumental band with an insanely good guitarist. i get to see him in november ;D
DREAM THEATER!!!!!!
anyone that says they are a guitarist should KNOW who Satriani is. Hell, he taught Steve Vai as well, not to mention he plays with one of the world's most talented bass players, Stew Hamm.
I would like to see something from "Flying in a wild blue dream.
Nofx?! WTF? and the song that its going to be is Soul Doubt?! Is that ironic or what?
sum good titles
cant wait
there are some great songs on there
sounds fake as hell, cmon, michael jackson - beat it? yeah, thats believable
a dream playlist, great mix, this will definately be the best guitar hero with this track list ( lynyrd skynyrd, LP, jimi hendrix) what more could you want?!!
"YYZ" created by Neversoft??
As far as i know, YYZ was created by Rush, not Neversoft.
Fake list.
And your point is?
Walk This Way was created by Aerosmith..
Those are samples showing that you can, in fact make a real song using the editor, Neversoft just created it in-game.
I think this is real.
the obvious part that makes it fake is the idea of a guitar battle against sting
hes was the BASSIST for the police not the guitarist
That they mean YYZ created in the Song Creator .. done by Neversoft...
Everyone knows YYZ was written by Rush.
they need to make a METAL BAND and put some death metal, goth metal, speed metal and stuff like that.. im tired of all the peepee crap that they put into these games... 95% of tho's bands up there suck IMO,and the only reason why im gunna buy it first day is becouse of the greatest band ever :) DREAM THEATER MUTHA FU**A'S... and still, how are they gunna incorperate the drums to go with the song "pull me under" ?? .. i can understand on easy but wut about expert?? theres double bass 99% of the time in that song.. they dont even have double bass pedals for the drums.
IF they had an option to ad on or buy seperately then i would buy it.
(i still think 95% of the bands mention on the list suck b@lls though) :)
they mentioned at E3 that you can buy another bass pedal and then using a splitter thing have two so you can do double bass
why dont you beat it
i agree with the metal part and the 95% on there suck. but your saying this when you're buying the game for dream theatre? they suck ass.
but definitely should get a double bass pedal, and more hardcore/metal acts as dlc.
when your heart stops beating by 44..should be by +44
This list better be real. Neversoft has done a piss poor job with Guitar Hero and this list would definitely make up for that. I still don't think they have a chance against Harmonix.
I'll certainly get this now. I was waiting for the track listing and... wow! I mean, "Are you Gonna Go My Way", "Beat It", "The Boys Are Back in Town", "(Don't Fear) The Reaper", "Crazy Train", "Comfortably Numb", "Master of Puppets", and the greatest of them all, "Hallowed Be Thy Name"!
Best tracklist ever. EVER.
< /ejaculation >
It might be a bass battle. That'd be a bit different. Quite cool, too.
To those confused by the credit going to Neversoft for some songs, it's obviously the song creator. Christ.
So about 3/4s of the songs are god awful and that last 1/4th is stuff that's really good. May even be less than 1/4 though, maybe more like1/6th. Seriously, My Chemical Romance? Seriously, if anybody has gotten halfway through Expert they would be able to play 3/4s of the tracks behind their head.
I hope this is a rumor, I'm not buying a game to play 10 songs. Fuer Frei!, Nottingham Lance, Fury of the Storm, Crazy Train, Don't Talk to Strangers, etc.
Are you retarded? Dream Theater is the ONLY band composed of entirely Virtuosos out there right now. They may not appeal to your tastes, but as far as skill goes, every member of that band has more skill than probably any member of any band you listen to. There are a lot of bands I like better than Dream Theater, but I know that as far as skill goes most of them can't hold a candle to John Petrucci. So don't talk ***** about a band that you obviously don't know anything about. Go listen to Bullet for my Valentine or something, obviously your idea of a good band is one that can sweep pick and that's what their solo is composed of.
