RUMOR: Far Cry Coming to The Wii |

Another rumor for the Wii - this time, it's backed by retail industry giant, Amazon. Apparently, amazon.ca is listing the Crytek-developed and Ubisoft-published Far Cry for the Wii. The listed product has a tentative release date of November 16. Well, this one is a pretty significant rumor because this is the first confirmation of a major retailer about the speculated existence of Far Cry for Wii. The game is being sold for roughly 50 Canadian Dollars (or about US$45). Although the platform section of the game's page is not filled, the title alone could spark numerous backfence talks. Well, what do you think of this one? Do you think it's true or just a mistake on the part of Amazon? Would you want it to be true or you just don't give a damn about it? this game a dead & buried already..and it was not good anyway...it is REALLY stupid to bring out of game that is dead ..unless it was a classic which it definetely is not..

LoL Wiimote looks too hard to aim compared to the mouse, the dude on the Red Steel E3 vid is eaitehr struggling with the wiimote or unco. Its also funny to note the dudes that guy is shooting arent really doing any 'tactical' manouvers, let alone moving, instead of standing still shooting; and the dude has to spray to hit them + and he misses... constantly... If thats not enough too top it off check out aiming the bow in LoZTP... It really needs some fine tuning.
Seriously I like Far Cry, I like the Wii, but jeez a 2 year old PC game, that requries pretty precise aiming in some bits; like when you being attacked by rampaging mutant monkeys would suck on the Wii... I want to see original games damn nabbit!

You're too focused on then video of Red Steel from E3, don't forget it's only a pre-build section of the game that was made to represent the different aspects of the games. Many journalists had the opportunity to played another version of the same demo, a version with better control scheme, also they presented on QJ not too long ago the gameplay of this demo and it was alot better. The shooting session of this game are made for one purpose, to point and shoot" It's true that the guy at the Nintendo Conference seems dumb, playing only with the mouvement of his wrist. But imagine the possibilities of the point and shoot, the time you can take to kill a certain number of enemies spread on all the screen depend only of your reflex and your speed of aiming, so yes you can have really intense shooting session that you can only experience with the Wii because you virtually the guy who have the gun in his hand.

Let's all make sure this doesn't become one fanboy *****-fest. Keep it civilized like the previous entries have done.
Personally, I too credit the Wii remote for being more oriented towards realistic gameplay. I can't express my frustration for the amount of times I've found myself actually good at a game, only to be bested by someone who can twitch their thumbs faster than me.
