Rumor: Capcom's second mystery E3 title is Devil May Cry 5, also coming to Wii |
Ó
Another rumor to spark up your interest for the already much-ado'd E3: Capcom is presenting Devil May Cry 5 at the said event. Remember that full E3 line-up plus two mystery games released a couple of weeks ago? Well, rumor has it that the other mystery title is DMC5.According to Curious Gamer, this iteration of the DMC franchise will not only head to the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3, but will also be showing up on the Nintendo Wii. Also, their source says that attendees of E3 may look forward to a 1:32-minute long teaser trailer - quite short for eager fans, but it ought to be informative nonetheless as the release date will be shown in it too.
Again, this stands as rumor for now, though. We expect to hear something official from Capcom now that the buzz is out.
The first revealed mystery title turned out to be Tatsunoko vs. Capcom.

This and tatsunoku are the "special" announcement games??? I'm thoughly disappointed... tatsunoku was fun to play for a few hours, but kinda weak since i had to play it on the wii :-p okami or monster hunter for the ps3 wouldve made for a much much better announcement
The first DMC was awesome, original and dante was cool, since then all the other DMC games sucked, Dante has become more Hollywood and his ego is so big it sh*ts me, Surfing a missile wtf thats not cool, thats just plain retarted...
Everyone can surf a missile. Haven't you?
I'd say DMC4 Dante was the best. All of his moves integrated like that was pretty nice. Nero and the backtracking killed it for me.
I hope DMC5 is better though.
Hope this turns out to be true. The first DMC was great the second was crap and after that they started picking up again. So if that holds the 5th will be even better.
@Madman
Wouldn't you have a huge ego if you were practically immortal? There would be nothing to fear. Thats what made the opening fight in DMC4 so god damn cool. If Capcom continues to fix flaws and capitalize on successes then the games will remain solid. Imo, anyone who stays diehard to the first game and only the first game needs to get off of Hideki Kamya's ***** and open their eyes to solid games.
I have to agree they picked up after the second one but they aren't hitting it near the first one, I don't like how hack and slash it is now, the first one had better pacing through it I think, and about the ego thing, Dante in DMC1 was like Leon from RE4 because DMC1 almost became a reboot of RE and I like their characteristics but the latter Dante's have become more *****y to the point that when I see the kinda stunts they pull I feel embarrassed to be playing the game, It's like B grade movie stunts that sound cool on paper but look ridiculous and lame, just my opinion though
