Considering that the main character here (Jade, obviously) looks like the one featured in the debut trailer, we're assuming this leak is legit. It shows quite a lot of action reminiscent of the first game - only now on some high-octane 'roids and ditching the whole stealth aspect, while doing some Mirror's Edge-like free running across a town littered with cops.
Run, Jade! Ruuuuun!

if that's actual gameplay, looks like a lot of fun
Kinda looked like real gameplay. The first time she dodged that animal in the street, I called cutscene or prerendered, but she did the same animation for the walls and table. Looks good.
yeah, it looks awesome...
a combination of assassin's creed and mirrors edge but more on assassin's creed so the engine's probably the same with creed especially that it's from ubisoft. i hope this'll be available for the pc too. xD
It doesn't seem anything like a continuation of the first at all. Especially the teaser trailer. I'm hoping this game is well linked with the first somehow.
It looks amazing. I loved the first game to death but was so sad when I heard there wouldn't be a sequel. It always felt like it was supposed to continue but it didn't but then I heard about the teaser and almost shed a tear of joy. After watching this I'm even more excited. I wouldn't say the game is ditching stealth altogether based on a short vid of gameplay but I would say it definitely has some new stuff thrown in there.
Brought to us by the studio who gave us Assassin's Creed and Prince of Persia and so many other fantastic games as of late. I think they picked a great time to bring this game back, can't wait.
I never [played the first but this game really looks good whatever it is :) i wonder if there will be some sort of gun play.
But this does seem like the next evolution from the assassins creed/ mirrors edge gameplay elements
and since there both from (ubisoft?) then its most definitly an evolution on those gameplay terms.

I loved the first game but to be honest not much from Ubisoft has impressed me lately at all. Assassin's Creed was tedious, Prince of Persia has the most boring and repetitive combat system in years and Mirror's Edge was alright in short bursts, but then the game as a whole was a short burst.
That video looked ok but it felt more like Ubisofts recent crap than Beyond Good and Evil.
I meant to say EA for Mirror's Edge. Why can't I edit my comments...guh...
