Rumor alert: Boogie sequel incoming? |
Ó
Electronic Arts' Boogie (Wii, DS) may have come and gone with lukewarm reception from the fans due to its somewhat dodgy motion-based controls, but it seems that EA is still dead-set on getting the formula right and capture the casual market by the horns.
This is through a pre-order page found in the EBGames videogame retailer website, where a title named "Boogie Superstar" is currently being advertised. Yes, it's made by EA, yes, it's for the Wii, and yes, it's in the Music category, just like the original Boogie.
That should pretty much eliminate any chance of it being not a sequel, except if EA suddenly came out with a press release that specifically mentions that it is not in fact a sequel to the first game. It's also marked to ship this holiday season, too.
If anything, we hope that Electronic Arts has learned their lessons with the original Boogie, and that they'll make the gameplay just a bit more fun this time around. Updates as we get them, and you can check out more information in the via link below.

Because the first one was such a smashing success.
