Rumor: Activision now testing Guitar Hero IV? |

If you've already finished Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock (Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PC) and are now looking for your next conquest, this rumor might interest you. On G4's TheFeed, it was mentioned that one of their sources has given word that Activision is conducting testing for Guitar Hero IV already. Allegedly, the first round of testing is a small-scale test which involves about four to six people.
If this proves to be true, then we might be seeing a sequel to the popular music game sooner than most players would have expected.
Activision has not yet commented on this and for all we know, it could be nothing more than testing certain downloadable content for the game. Rest assured, we'll be keeping our eyes peeled for any developments regarding this rumor.

too bad there gonna be out MANY ps3 sales. i know myself and many others wont be getting it unless they resolve the compatability issue
Agreed. I already wrote to them expressing my disgust. I won't be buying another Activision product till they lighten up.
Guitar Hero is old news. They just add new songs and don't change anything else. Rock Band is where it's at. I'm waiting for the sequel to that game.
If true, that's lame! Unless it adds MORE FEATURES then there is no reason for a 4th. Both the 360, PS3 and PC support downloadable content. Plus, with the current SMALL SCALE boycott going on they'll get LOADS of bad press. They are desperate for money and this is a lame attempt at getting more.
a rock band game or a guitar hero game that make me download the music a la singstar... I hate the playlist of the guitar hero... only like 10 songs that I like... if I could downloadthe songs of last guitar hero series
that is, if they were smart, They would allow you to download songs from the old guitar hero games, and play them on 3. They already made the engine for GH3, why rework the wheel and release another game that you could just save the packaging money on and give it as DLC. I'd buy the classic GH songs
