Rock Band 2 Wii dated and priced

Harmonix has finally dated the Wii version of their rhythm title, Rock Band 2 (Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PS2). Ship date has been set for December 18, with the game hitting stores within 5 to 7 days of that date.

Still no definite date for Europe, but it has been rumored before that gamers across the pond will be getting it in January.

Along with the date, Harmonix also announced the following pricing structure for Rock Band 2 Wii:

• Rock Band 2 Standalone Software (Wii) US$ 49.99 MSRP
• Rock Band 2 Standalone Drums (Wii) US$ 89.99 MSRP
• Rock Band 2 Standalone Guitar (Wii) US$ 69.99 MSRP
• Rock Band 2 Special Edition Bundle (Wii) US$ 189.99 MSRP

Weekly DLC will also be made available for Rock Band 2 Wii, just like the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions. DLC can be accessed via the in-game Rock Band Music Store only and will be composed of previously-released tracks for the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game until the back catalog is completed.

da just bought rockband for my wee bro (i told him to wait till the 17th of DEC, but he didnt)



anyway paid £120 for drums guitar microphone and game
