Rock Band 2 achievement unlocked: 'Thank you for breaking street date!'

Here's something quite unexpected. With Rock Band 2's upcoming Xbox 360 release just a few days away (September 14 to be exact - with the PS3, Wii, PS2 release to follow), it would be natural that somewhere out there, someone would have breached through the rigmarole of retail.

Who knew that a game would actually praise you for getting your hands on a copy even before it's officially scheduled to be released? While a lot of people would probably want to beat your desperate ass for getting a copy ahead of others (like what happened to that Halo 3 dude - link below), this time around, Rock Band 2 would applaud your efforts.

Now if only Harmonix and MTV Games would translate this to an actual PS3 Trophy or Xbox 360 Achievement... That's what you call being a very good sport!
