Rising Star handling Ju-on: The Grude's Euro release |
Ó
I'm still not sold on the "accessibility and instant scares are a highlight over other game aspects" part of their marketing strategy for this game, but the Rising Star press release did reveal another aspect of the gameplay.
It turns out that there's a gameplay mechanic that measures players' movement during play. Those who flinch and jump a lot will have worse scores than those with steadier hands. Couple this with the feature that lets others initiate scares using a second Wiimote and you've got what could either be an entertaining horror party game or the reason why you suddenly have no more friends. Because you know, high scores are important and all.
