Sting Entertainment's Baroque has come a long way. It was originally released for the Sega Saturn in 1998, and since then it has come to PSOne (PSX), PlayStation 2 and Wii for Japan and North America. RPG fans in Europe need not fret, as Rising Star Games has picked up Baroque and set a release date for that side of the Atlantic.
In case you've never heard of the title, Baroque centers on a post-apocalyptic scenario. Imagine this: You wake up to an entire city in ruins. You can't remember squat and can't speak either, plus you're feeling unexplainable guilt plaguing you.
You meet an Archangel who tells you that you can fix whatever happened by crawling down the bottom of a tower. What's more, you'll learn that the movie The Mummy's tagline, "Death is only the beginning" also rings true in Baroque.
Anyway, the PS2 and Wii versions of this dark dungeon crawler will be creeping onto European shelves on June 27.
