Capcom's Captivate09 event has revealed that Resident Evil Archives will indeed come out this June. Hey, it turns out that retailers got it right this time. No word yet on if it'll indeed ship in a bundle with Resident Evil Zero, but the name does suggest more than one game.

Resident Evil Archives is a Wii remake of the GameCube remake of the original Resident Evil. Whew. This version includes the rooms, areas, items, and creatures that were added in the GameCube release. Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield also return of course.

grrr.... & to think 1 off the reasons i bought a wii was so i could get the gamecube versions of zero & remake off ebay, which i did, & now they go & wii-make them.

why cant they do RE2 &/or 3, as the gamecube versions off them were nothing more than slightly polished versions off the PS originals.
