De rigeur: RE4 Wii control scheme website, complete with Ashley - Image 1Yeah, that was one thing we had when Capcom's Resident Evil 4 for the Wii page went up: not everyone here can read Japanese. Now those little pictorial demos of how to move the Wiimote during certain in-game situations are contextually explainable, but the button assignments needed translation.

Well, IGN stepped up to ginny the button assignment chart. In English. Thank you IGN. You will immediately note that the trigger (B) isn't for shooting; nope, it's for equipping the weapon. The A button's for shooting once you equip; it's your attack button.

Guess IGN's translation, as well as the other contextual pictures on the Japanese-language site, should give you the full picture of how to slay zombies Ganados with a Wiimote. But you gotta love Capcom's sense of humor with their web pages. After all, we're talking about RE4 here. The de rigeur "guy holding a Wiimote" poster boy can't be complete here without the de rigeur "Ashley" poster girl.
