Resident Evil 0: Japanese debut trailer video |
Ó
While the Sony PlayStation 3 and the Microsoft Xbox 360 may be getting the next installment in the Resident Evil series, it's good to know that Capcom is dedicated into making sure that the Nintendo Wii isn't left in the dust as far as zombie-shooting love is concerned.
And in this update of the Japanese Resident Evil 0 website (also known as Biohazard Zero), we see that this particular part of the timeline that we saw on the GameCube is definitely looking to be intact.
So, what's new with the website? A new movie, of course, depicting the game's characters, settings, and quite a healthy chunk of gameplay. If you've played this particular chapter of the Resident Evil series, then you know how this goes, starting with the hubbub in the train and Rebecca getting slimed with leeches and whatnot.
What's most exciting here is the fact that the combat mechanics of the old Resident Evil games are back. Sure, Resident Evil 4 made combat just a bit more dynamic, but there's still the appeal of the seamless transition between shooting stuff and exploring stuff.
Enjoy the video!
