Rambi also makes a comeback in Donkey Kong Country Returns

The aptly-named Donkey Kong Country Returns isn't just for DK and Diddy - the series reboot will also be touching base on another important element in the DKC gameplay: the animal friends. With their help, the Kongs have been able to shoot down enemies, speed through water, fly across levels, or access hidden areas. In DKC Returns, at least one of them will be helping out the Kongs, and it's going to be Rambi, the one-rhino stampede.

I played it, I just never really got into it. I seem to remember mine cart areas? That turned me off.

There were minecart levels. Shame the 3 DKCs didn't pull you in, as they're really fun, but then again we all have different taste in games.

I can't wait to see more of this DKC reboot (now it seems we're in the age of reboots; we just got out of the age of sequels). If I have the cash, this will be a day 1 purchase for me.

Maaan, DKC was one of my favorite games back in the SNES. I just wish I never sold my SNES.
