Based from experience, leaked gameplay videos from YouTube are eventually placed out of circulation. We don't know for how long but we are telling you, it's just a matter of hours even shorter. We really do not know. So if you want a glimpse of upcoming Samurai Warriors Wave title, better be quick and watch the video now:

Developer Koei claimed that they changed the traditional third person perspective style to first person view to take advantage of the Wiimote. From where we are, it seems that the guy playing is doing just that, slashing the controller like using a sabre and pointing it like a gun. Koei, might  have made the right decision. What do you think?

Samurai Warriors Wave i
s based on the PS2 game Samurai Warriors, which in turn is an offshoot from the popular Dynasty Warriors franchise. Japan release is expected this December while localization for the Americas is still to be announced.

Hmm...

Seems kind of interesting. But that whole predictive movement crap is annoying. If they can get it 1:1 or at least close to it then it should be very promising. As for worrying about YouTube taking it down, just save the video. Heck, I save every YouTube video I like and put them on my PSP; it's not that hard if you have the right Firefox plugins.

I'm a 19 year old ninty fanboy

And that looks horrible. Worse than the original duck hunt. Garbage. Take the video down, please

Terrible

that looked disgusting in all honesty. Camara sucked, targeting sucked, and the controller response (movement and slasjing) was horribly slow. I hope that was a pre production build :(

Why?

Why would they take this video down? It was taken at TGS 2006, so it was more public and not private content... (meaning the public had a chance to see the demonstration there)

Also

It isn't horrible, but should be rebuilt on gameplay... them standing there waiting for you to kill them is not a challenge at all... Nice graphics though...

tiring...

Don't you think a hack n slash game is going to be completely tiring to the point of exhaustion on the Wii? Just sitting there slashing that controller is going to look incredibly funny/stupid and your arm is going to fall off after the first level. Also, after the first 10 minutes of saying this is soo cool...your soon to be saying, wow this is awful and losing its cool appeal, just the same repetitive motion over and over and over. There was no excitement in the players motion in the video...he looked bored to hell just trying to get through that level.

ahhh huh

wow thats rediculusly awful .... 2 things 1) the movement between you and the actual guy in the game is way off, i mean your getting killed for crying out loud and you swing the wemote and few seconds later the guy swings, and when the character turns aghhh. 2) best thing about video games is multiplayer and i dont see multiplayer (internet) functionality here or any where to be exact (hmm interesting, could be mistaken though). auto aiming at a guy while playing multi ... no thank you.
