The Qmann is back in the latest issue of EGM and has a lot of juicy tidbits to grind in the old rumor mill. Some of these include updates on the rumored Max Payne 3 game that is currently in the works, and word of a new PlayStation 3 exclusive title from none other than the developers of the Grand Theft Auto series, Rockstar.Quartermann explained that the original developers of Max Payne, Remedy Entertainment, is too busy to work on the supposed sequel, concentrating all of their efforts on Alan Wake(Xbox 360, PC) instead. However, this doesn't mean Max Payne 3 is destined to end up in a vapory grave. The internal Rockstar team that created The Warriors will be picking up the project and will continue development on it.
Speaking of Rockstar, the team behind Grand Theft Auto 4 (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3) seems to be working on an unnamed PS3 exclusive title. As to what this new game will be about or when it will be revealed was unfortunately left out of Quartermann's predictions.
One thing that Qmann was sure about was that the upcoming Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Lightsaber Duels will not utilize the new WiiMotion Plus technology Nintendo featured during E3. Publisher LucasArts was upset about not being able to implement the new motion sensing technology into their game. The good news is that talks are already underway for developing another Wii lightsaber game which will make use WiiMotion Plus for sometime next year.

LA Noire was announced as rockstars exclusive ps3 title a few years ago, its just that we haven't heard much about it. i think there was some confusion early this year when a job ad made it look like it may come to the 360, but officially, la noire is still a ps3 exclusive.

i think u r thinking of the game dead to rights 2...hes the one that has the dog....but all the same agreed that max payne is a great franchize and would love to see the third one...i was absoulutly in love with the first..the 2nd was ok didnt care for the chick...but yea max payne is one bad asss ...o and the person that is playing him in the move is MArk Walhberg..btw

maybe a ps3 exclusive will help rockstar learn to make a game that works on all ps3's no matter what sku it is.
annoying as all friggin hell that i prepurchase gta4 and to this day never played past a hour or so of it cuz their coding and ability to program and test games on the ps3 is largely null.
gta4 crashes nonstop on ps3's with emotion chips and no other game has ever done this to me quite simply rockstar can suck a phat cack
ill never buy another rockstar game again without renting it 1st and if im gonna rent it i may as well beat it and not buy it at all.
befiore gta4 i was a huge rockstar fan but the shoddy customer service and inability to make gta4 work on my machine with a patch of some sort basically shows me that rockstar isnt worth my time cuz me and customers like myself are very obviously not worth their time. if you dunno wtf im talking about google or go to youtube for gta4 freezing ps3.

I thought Max Payne was pretty mediocre. Cool storyline, but the game itself was "eh", IMO.

it was in fact released on PS2 before PC, but maybe they'll make a PC version later....
