Q Entertainment, Rev to localize Rock Band for Japan |
Ó
North American gamers have been enjoying Rock Band (Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Wii) for some time now. Well, it looks like Harmonix plans on sharing the love with gamers in Japan as well.Q Entertainment and Rev have been tapped by Harmonix to undertake the localization of Rock Band in Japan. So far, not much else has been revealed about what changes will be made to the game to make it more accessible to gamers in the region, but we can probably expect some songs from popular Japanese bands.
Will Rock Band see the same success it enjoyed in Europe and North America in Japan as well? Only time will tell. Till then, keep checking back here for more updates.

They're just gonna have 50% Visual Kei and 50% J-Pop.
Not like that's a bad thing though.
Japan will have lots of fun with this, they couldn't have done a better team for a localized version.
Harmonix picked their partners well
