Product Placement - Image 1 Product Placement - Image 2

FourHMan alerts Aeropause that Elebits has a particularly amusing bits of product placement from Epson. Just check out the images above to get what we're talking about. So, is it that good type of bad-advertising that's just so bad, its funny? Or is it more of just plain bad, Youfail.org-type bad? Or is it really not that bad at all, and it's actually a smart money making move? We'll let you guys decide and voice out your say on the comments section.

Anyway, this makes us wonder if they conducted any studies to correlate the effects of exposure to insane stupid cuteness and the printer buying habits of consumers.

sweet

assuming the printer is usable in game, this is the way in game advertising should work. something that doesn't interrupt the flow of gameplay, yet still gives the advertiser meaningful screen time.

Exactly

If anyone complains about this, they are very ignorant and naive. It cost money to develop games, and constantly developers lose money in making games rather than profit, and have to move on without being guaranteed they'll have a job in the future. This gives them an outlet for more income, while charging the same price we have been paying for games and its not hurting us. Ooooo, big deal, instead of the printer just saying printer, it says Epson - oh my god im gunna boycot! *****ing retards ..... People get angry, but they do not know what it takes to develop a game, especially when its a new IP that may or may not take with gamers.

it looks

like it's not noticible unless you go to a viewer. Not bad, but having elebits be less than $50 would have been more convincing. Meh, this doesn't bother me.
