Pretty as a Picture: Wii Photo Channel Demo'd |
Ó

We've covered the Mii Channel. But what about the Photo Channel? Here's a demo you guys wouldn't want to miss. Especially the Nintendo fans. Why? Because the interface of the Photo Channel is just so utterly... err... Nintendo! You guys have to watch the video to understand.
The interface is clean and very simple. The animations of the picture viewer are bizarre, in the sense that they were able to make your set of pictures look like a strand of spiraling DNA. And then there's the sounds. They're so typically Nintendo! The button effects sound like they would come from some Super Mario game, or maybe even a laser-blaster shot from Samus of the Metroid series. Neat, huh?
One good part about the video is that we are shown how to edit pictures using the Wiimote. Photo editing involves selecting a tool, maybe a pencil tool, eraser, or even a tool to insert hearts. Then, depending on how you tilt the Wiimote or how close you bring it to the screen, a tool gets bigger (or smaller, for that matter). We're also shown the video editing interface where you can set brightness and contrest of the video, and even play it backward.
Click the Read link below to watch the video. We're sure to get more info on this, especially once we find some screens or vids that have the Wii Channel interface in English.
