The All-Stars Limited Edition packs together several Super Mario titles all in one disc: Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. The Lost Levels, Super Mario Bros. 2 and Super Mario Bros. 3.

When it came out in North America back in early December, gamers were also treated to a soundtrack CD as well as a retrospective booklet.

were you able to pick up a copy of this game when it first came out? do you think there really is a need to go back to re-printing?

Gotta' agree with this. The game is literally unchanged from it's SNES incarnation.

yep, instead of the virtual console release, spend $30 on a fancy box.

That's exactly what I was thinking. For someone who's not gotten the VC versions yet, just go get it all in one box. Plus, not everything in this box is even available on VC so comparing this to VC makes no sense at all.

Plus the other "goodies" in the box that people like to collect.

Good deal for $30.

definately a good deal for a recycled 18 year old game.

Yep, whether it's a port of a remake, a remake of a remake, or a remake of a port, nintendo has you covered!

I think nintendo should only release games that exploit their early console successes.

This is exactly from the SNES, no improvements were made.

That's Nintendo for you.

but i guess asking for a diffrant version of an all stars game is too much. i mean it is 25 years, they could bring something new thats NOT crap.

I am kicking my ass for not getting this when I had the chance back in Dec.

I want it because in the future the value of this set will be quite high
