Pokemon Battle Revolution - Image 1Pokémon Battle Revolution for the Nintendo Wii video game console launches today, and it brings with it quite a number of firsts. Apart from being the first Pokémon title for the Wii, this game is also the first online Wii game in the Americas. This title is also the first Wii game to let players wirelessly link to a Nintendo DS and use it as a controller.

"Already more than 2 million copies of Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl have sold in the United States alone," says George Harrison, Nintendo of America's senior vice president of marketing and corporate communications.

"The arrival of Pokémon Battle Revolution brings those players a whole new set of challenges and, for the first time on Wii, online battles."

Check it out. Because, you know, you really gotta catch 'em all.

but I have a question for all of you who are and go and buy this. To those that modded their wii, any problems playing online? Wondering if Nintendo will take a similar approach to Microsoft in regards to mods and online play.
