Wii Fit - Image 1Nintendo's offer for the weight conscious, Wii Fit together with the Wii Balance Board, continues to show promising sales days before its release. Popular online retailer Play.com just announced that overwhelming pre-orders dropped the "sold out" status on Wii Fit well ahead of its April 25 launch in the UK.

Wii Fit reportedly sold out in one day, displaying how high demand is in that part of the world. Play.com began taking pre-orders just recently, yet the store already has its current allocation of units fully booked.

Gian Luzio, head of games at Play.com, was quoted saying:

People continually look for new and fun ways to stay in shape and it’s fantastic to see exergames in big demand. Wii Fit is going to be huge – let’s hope that we can keep up with demand. We are expecting more stock before launch.

Wow what a headline! Wii Fit sells out in one day!

They failed to mention how many shipped. Are you faking shortages again to get headlines Nintendo? I'm sure they're not saying how many actually sold in the first day because it wasn't many.

» WTF!?!?!?!?!

How can Nintendo fake someone elses shortage? You sound like an idiot child ranting over and over again about shortages.

More proof that Mr. Nonsense is an idiot and knows not of what he speaks. That goes for his last comment and all his comments in general about Wii Fit seeing as how it's a sell out success.

"How can Nintendo fake someone elses shortage? You sound like an idiot child ranting over and over again about shortages."

Uhh they didn't send enough to them? Nintendo makes them, and thus has total control over supply and deliveries.

No wonder you have no clue that Nintendo is faking shortages of the Wii.

Wow! Your ignorance sees no end. I just got done giving you a pounding about this in another article. Let's break it down AGAIN to a point where even YOU can understand.

1. You claim Nintendo didn't SEND enough to them. The problem here is you are TOO STUPID to have understood that this article about a PRESALE!!!!!

2. You still do not understand demand. Let's say Nintendo shipped 100,000 units to every single vendor in a specific region. Then, when the product goes on sale and all of them are sold out you claim Nintendo didn't send enough units and is FAKING a shortage..... in order for your BS to be true Nintendo would have had to gone to EVERY SINGLE PERSONS door and PERSONALLY asked EVERY SINGLE PERSON how many Wii Fits they where going to buy THEN AND ONLY THEN purposely shipped NOT ENOUGH units.

3. Like I said, Nintendo can NOT fake someone else's shortage. Play.com ran out of allocated units, It's not Nintendo responsibility to invent a crystal ball. You seem to think Nintendo MUST output some magical number that you feel is good enough. That is why you FAIL every single time.

I'm going to point out more Mr. Nonsense BS. Notice his comment:

"I'm sure they're not saying how many actually sold in the first day because it wasn't many."

Notice how his comment was NOT opinion, rather it was stated as FACT that Nintendo did not sell many?

Well, here's the FACTS:

The first two days they sold 254,000.

Regarding the same two days:

"Wii Fit has already sold more than Super Mario Galaxy sold in its first week."

Via NeoGAF, you need an account....

"As to the games themselves, Wii Fit managed to wrestle itself into top place by selling 1,762,193 copies"

It looks like Mr. Nonsense has a never ending supply of egg on his face...
