We've got some fresh new screens of an iinteresting collaboration between Konami and Take-Two Interactive's 2K Sports division. Known as Power Pro Baseball in Japan, the game will finally ship to Western stores and be named MLB Power Pros.

The game will deviate from the deep simulation style of gameplay normally associated with sports titles and put on a more arcade-oriented game face. From the player animations to the moves, everything won't be too realistic but the fun factor should be there.

It's easy to tell that this game is heavily influenced by Japanese pop culture. Heads will be larger than usual and the presentation is bound to be wacky. Your Mii avatars get to play in the game, by the way. Watch out for this on the Nintendo Wii. In the meantime, just continue practicing your swing with the Wiimote.
