Photo Channel

If you notice, the Photo Channel for the Wii is often just referred to as a picture viewer in most articles about the features of Nintendo's Wii. But, we're telling you, it's not just an ordinary picture viewer.

Once you head on over the Photo Channel, it'll show all the photographs in your SD card. You have an option to zoom in (maybe only two, even one thumbnail will fill the screen) or out (almost looking like a mosaic), when viewing the pictures' thumbnail, to your desired size. True to the Touch Generations philosophy, the Wii remote can also be used when browsing through the pictures. Just point and scroll.

But what makes the Photo Channel truly remarkable is that you can edit your pictures right then and there on your TV screens. It's just like a user friendly Photoshop or Gimp. And just like in those high end editing tools, you can take elements from different images and integrate them into a single image.

Take your creations and mix in a happy tune and you have yourself a slide show which you can send to your loved ones using the WiiConnect24.

Told you it's not just a picture viewer.

Please, for god sake...

Guys, change your picture viewer. The fancy effects just slow down the process of browsing numerous photos quickly
