Driver franchise, Ubisoft - Image 1

It's been three years since Ubisoft acquired the franchise for Driver, and two since they came out with Driver: Parallel Lines on the Wii. Now it's time to revive the franchise with a brand new trademark for "Driver: The Recruit".

This was revealed over at the US Patent and Trademark Office database. Ubisoft has yet to give out any official word on this matter, but with E3 just a few weeks away, it won't exactly be a runaway surprise if they divulge more details there.

We'll be on the lookout for more info on this in the meantime.

your comment is a bit like everybody's else, talking about NFS series, for instance. i still like both and would be looking forward to see a new driver. :)

» off topic but not really

someone tell ubisoft to take their far cry 2 engine and make a horror game with said engine. Far Cry 2 is amazing on visuals and hardly any loading times at all.... its what games should be like. I totally get engrossed in games that has graphics this beautiful. Comon Ubisoft, please read this and answer my wish.
