Patent found for a Wii horseback riding peripheral |
Listed in: Wii Tags: Nintendo, patent, Wiimote
Ó
The patent was found in a European patent database, which lists that the inflatable seat may also support riding other animals such as “bulls, camels, elephants, burros, dolphins, whales” and even fictional creatures like “dragons, griffons, unicorns, giant eagles.” Sticking the Wiimote into the slot provided will allow the Wiimote's accelerometers to work the inflatable seat's functions using the accelerometers.
As with all patent-spotting news, this one neither has release info nor images of the final product. We'll have to settle for the little sketches for now, and until (or if) Nintendo announces this one, you can try envisioning yourself bouncing shamelessly in front of your TV.
For now, there's the Vitality Sensor:
- Satoru Iwata: Wii Vitality Sensor coming "not too late" next year
- Nintendo: Wii Vitality Sensor is not yet understood

It's also funny guys were commenting and saying pate and platelets instead of patent.
