Wii - Image 1Bob Ross' The Joy of Painting for the Wii may be languishing in development limbo right now, but those looking for a painting title for the Wii could still get something similar.

In an interview with Eurogamer, Paint by DS producer Jason Harman mentioned that a Wii title similar to Paint by DS is a possibility. For the uninitiated, Paint by DS is a sort of digital coloring book from developer Mercury Games. Players use the DS stylus to mix paint and then work on their masterpieces in paint-by-numbers gameplay.

The biggest hurdle would probably be the lack of physical contact, but Harman has a solution: "The Wii version could include other painting media such as a spray paint can and a roller." Sounds like a nice way to relax in front of the TV on a lazy afternoon.
