"Our War Kicks Your War's @#%!" - Call of Duty 3 Interview |
Ó

In a recent interview, Call of Duty Executive Producer Marcus Iremonger talked about the joy he's had bringing the game to life. Among other subjects, he discusses his interest in the history of the Second World War, and this project has been so near to his heart.
CoD is a first-person shooter that takes the player to several different battlefields across North Africa and Europe during the global conflict against fascism, which lasted from September of 1939 and ended in August of 1945. Published by Activision, the game is available for the XBox 360, with versions for the PS3 and Wii platforms planned. The game took both a nomination and a "best-of-show" award at the recent E3 2006 Conference.

Well, I went to the game-site and saw their technique on how they went about making faces and what I saw was something totally unexpected. A full blown machine that dots your face with 50 or more dots to map out your face and than inevitabley scan it with Geometry straight to the computer. Makes a complicated sculpt of a real face. Awsome. Now I am positive that we won't be seeing generic characters that mainly look the same with this tech.
nope just dousent play.
wont play 4 me
"1UP: Good. My squadmates met some ugly ends in CoD2. The enemy A.I. seemed OK; they were a little bit&tired. All right, the Wii. What are the plans for the Wii, and the motion-sensing PS3 controller?
MI: I'll tell you about the Wii, because the Wii is the one that's the most developed right now."
The Wii version is more complete then the PS3 one? Also why is there more in the transcript then the video?
Man they went through all that trouble with that technology and soon they will be releasing technology were gamers can put there own faces in a game just like that. http://news.teamxbox.com/xbox/11261/Digimask-Autohead-Released/

I'm getting 'World War II-ed out'
Give me a game where I can covertly assassinate Hitler and make it look like he committed suicide in his bunker, or I have to rescue captives from a 'transport train', then I'll look into it.
who sent a guy with a scrawny wooden leg into battle?
pirates in the war?
