Online connectivity not included in Worms: A Space Oddity |
Ó
Contrary to what was previously announced, THQ and Team17 Software's Worms: A Space Oddity will not have any online gameplay features. The reason for the exclusion of online elements was not explicitly stated, but here's an excerpt from THQ's statement about the matter:We've chosen to focus on making the best possible local multiplayer experience through fast-paced gameplay and entertaining party-games. Players will get even more fun and satisfaction from being able to see the reaction of their friends and taunting them with attacks face-to-face.
So there you have it. It may not be the straightforward answer that gamers are expecting, but at least they're telling us the good points of being able to play multiplayer with your opponents just sitting beside you.
