Soul Calibur Legend magazine scan - Image 1While details about the highly-anticipated fighter-turned-adventure title Soul Calibur: Legends for the Nintendo Wii is scarce and thin, it's safe to say that many of us are actually looking forward to seeing the likes of Taki, Ivy and Siegfried throw down on a few hordes of bumbling enemy NPCs. And to stoke the flames of burning desire even hotter, here's a new scan that talks about the game as well as some delicious screenshots of it in action.

As you can see, things are looking pretty sweet - not to mention Taki in her body-hugging Ninja uniform that we've all grown to love. We also get to peruse two stock enemy types that's crucial to every slash-em-up - namely the bumbling ninja and the slow, shambling mummy, both rendered quite well despite all the action that's evidently going on.

One thing we can't wait to find out about Soul Calibur: Legends is how the different characters' movesets relate to crowd control. Sure, we know they're efficient in one-on-one battles, but how would they actually work when it's a mob you're dealing with and not just one character? It'd be interesting to see what Namco Bandai comes up with.
