Old Wii Internet Channel subscribers to get one free game on Virtual Console

If you coughed up some dough to subscribe to the Wii Internet Channel, you probably hit the roof when you found out that Nintendo made it free. Today, however, you're about to get a small reprieve. You're entitled to one NES game on Virtual Console which you can download free of charge.

Just update your Channel and a line button saying, "One free game" should show up. The offer, however lasts only until the end of this year, December 31st, and that the game you get should only be within 500 points.

On the upside, Nintendo has really improved the content on Virtual Console. Fancy some old Final Fantasy titles? Enjoy your retro gaming!
